Peruvian Shamanic Healing Presentation,  please RSVP

Mateyo will demonstrate her popular Peruvian Shamanic Healing techniques on volunteers, lecturing as she goes. Topics will include:

• Mateyo's training;
• the healer's preparation;
• opening and closing your aura;
• kawach, or psychic vision;
• the mesa, home of kuyllas, or living stones, the toolkit of the shaman;
• sound healing;
• use of the camay and plant waters;
• the interaction of heavy energy, luminous threads, and feathers;
• what you can do to repair your aura;
• and more as required.

Since the most profound work is done within a circle of coherent, loving energy, if needed the audience will be instructed in "holding space" for the healees. The circle will open midway through the session so people may come and go at that time. All ages and abilities welcome; those in need of healing are especially encouraged to come.

Mateyo is also available for individual sessions (at an additional charge - see Healing Session, below) for those who prefer privacy rather than group work.

Though there is no obligation to continue your studies with Mateyo, upon successful completion of the empowerment class you will be eligible to join the new Hampi Muyu Nan (Healing Power Path) one-year program, which begins with "Kanay Wilka Nina" (Kindling the Sacred Fire). We will meet three more times in the next year, receiving initiations, making the kuyllas (living stones) to go into our mesas (shaman's toolkit), and growing spiritually in the comfort of our Ayllu, or spiritual community.

Personal services offered:

Kawach (Psychic) Readings and/or Healing Sessions: $60, min 1 hour, sessions can be up to 1 1/2 hours long if desired

The Presenter:

Mateyo Empie has spent 40 years learning and practicing everything taught in English ans Spanish that she could find in the U.S., India, and Peru about personal growth, spiritual development, healing, and shamanism. For the last 15 years she has focused on Peruvian shamanism, including living in Peru for months at a time. When not teaching throughout the United States, she lives in a loft in downtown Ypsilanti, MI, with her husband and numerous house plants. In this world the plant and stone people are her most important advisors.

Allow her to share the most effective and necessary techniques with you in just one fun (and intense) weekend starting July 27. Individualized instruction in a small group ensures that beginners and the experienced alike will benefit greatly. Testimonials available upon request.
