SoulCollage for Women
Sunday, 7 September, 2-5pm, $30
(includes all supplies but bring favorite scissors if you have them)
Join in the exciting process of creating "soul cards".  Fun to make and exciting to read,
the cards serve as our own personal "oracle cards".  You will leave this introduction class with at least one card of your own and perhaps even some new and surprising information about yourself!

Crystal Journey and Meditation: Red Coral

Learn how Coral helps to "tame" the wildness within  and supports the creation of structure in our everyday lives. Experiment with Coral's suplte energies in conjunction with Turquoise and Azurite.

Journey within Coral's energy body in a guided meditation and share your experience with the group. Handouts will be available but please bring pen and paper for extra notes.

The Artist Way

Friday 19 September, 7-9pm

The Artist's Way, A Spiritual Path to Higher Creativity, was designed by writer/director Julia Cameron. This 13-week course “links creativity to spirituality by showing in nondenominational terms how to tap into the higher power that connects human creativity with the creative energies of the Universe...” Through her various books and classes, Julia Cameron's highly effective exercises and activities have helped thousands of artists from all walks of life remove the emotional blocks that keep their creativity submerged.

Facilitator:  Dodie Weiss brings over 25 years of experience in Theatre and has worked professionally throughout the United States as an actor, director, playwright and singer. She has taught Theatre Arts and Career Skills on the High School, College, University and Trade School levels.  Dodie has been involved in the Artist's Way since 1996 and has used its principles and philosophy in her personal life and also during the 11 years she spent in the employment industry as a recruitor and career councelor. She has dedicated herself to helping others to discover what blocks them from fulfilling their dreams. Presently, Dodie is deeply involved in her start-up company, Homaan Heck Productions, which specializes in personalized photo-fantasy books and posters for children.

Beginning Belly Dance

Wednesdays, starting 24 September, 11am - Noon or 7-8pm, 6 weeks/1hr each total cost $30

Join Sheila Robinson for 6 weeks to learn the basics! A fun and relaxed atmosphere allows you to explore the art of belly dancing. The course includes basic steps, walking and moving, turns, slides and other graceful movements. With weekly reviews you can work your way to entrances and exits, shimmies, pops, locks as well as solo dance and simple group choreography. A complete course outline is available upon request.

Graduates will have the opportunity to show off their new skills at a local dancer restaurant, but this is not a must.

You will need a hip scarf and comfortable clothing. Suggested are exercise clothes like leggings and a body-fitting top.Absolutely no experience needed, men and women of all ages are welcome.

Women's Spirituality Circle
 3rd Sundays 3 to 5pm, please bring snacks to share, no RSVP is necessary 
This group was formed in June, 2007 for the purpose of providing a supportive place for women to gather and share their spiritual paths. Every month a member volunteers to provide a presentation or craft project or simply plans a potluck or other activity for the group's participation. Basic format of meetings: We begin with a grounding and centering exercise, brief introductions, the presentation is given and then we share a snack and enjoy getting to know one another.
